My journey as the founder of DEO Group has been shaped by real-life experiences with unemployment, workplace challenges and barriers to opportunity.
One defining experience was being rejected for a role because I was over the age of 35. That experience strengthened my belief that a person's ability, experience, dedication and work ethic should never be overlooked because of their age.
It reinforced my desire to build something that could create opportunities for others while providing businesses with reliable, practical solutions to help them operate and grow.
From that purpose, DEO Group was established as a South African business solutions group built on three core principles: Dedication, Excellence and Opportunity.
What began with Recruitment and Remote Office Solutions has grown into a broader vision of providing integrated business solutions across multiple service areas.
Building DEO Voice from the Ground Up
One of the most meaningful parts of my journey is building DEO Voice from the ground up as part of the DEO Group vision.
Building a business is not always easy, particularly when financial resources are limited. Every step requires careful planning, resourcefulness, persistence and the determination to keep moving forward, even when progress feels difficult.
This journey has challenged me to think creatively, work with what is available and remain focused on the bigger picture. It has taught me that building a business takes more than having an idea. It requires patience, resilience, continuous learning and a willingness to keep going through uncertainty.
I am committed to developing DEO Voice into a professional business communications division that helps businesses strengthen customer relationships and improve the way they communicate with and serve their customers.
For me, DEO Voice represents more than another business division. It is part of the vision I am working to bring to life through determination, careful development and a commitment to service excellence.
